Can I watch a sample module?
Absolutely! Find a demo of the full module - Action Series Module 3
Can I purchase a single module instead of a whole series?
At this time, no — the pilot program is only available by series or as the full package. This keeps things simple during the pilot phase and helps us gather consistent feedback. (Future versions may offer more flexible options!)
Why are all the series priced the same if some have more modules than others?
Great question! The flat price of $50 per series is set for the pilot phase to make it easy and accessible for schools to participate. While the number of modules varies, every series includes the same supporting documents, teaching tools, and resources (like facilitator guides, rubrics, and art projects). This ensures you’re always getting a complete teaching package — whether it’s 2 modules or 9.
Can Kalin to come deliver the training in person to our classroom?
During the pilot project, all lessons are designed to be delivered by the classroom teacher using the ready-made content provided. This ensures consistency across classrooms so we can gather meaningful feedback. In-person delivery by Kalin will be explored in the future as an additional option once the program has completed its pilot phase.
Nope! The fine art side of The Recycling Project (found at www.therecyclingproject.ca) is a completely separate branch. The art included in the classroom modules is DIY, hands-on, and fun for all ages. Think creative crafts that help reinforce the lesson content — not museum-style gallery pieces.
What if I want to learn Kalin’s fine art techniques?
That would be a different offering altogether. Specialized workshops may be available in the future, but they would be separate from the classroom program and priced differently.
How long do I have access once I purchase?
Licenses last for the full school year (September to June), giving you unlimited classroom use. A separate summer license (July - August) is also available for Pro-D days, camps, and events.
Do I need special technology to run these modules?
Nope! Each module is a simple PowerPoint video — you can project it in class, play it on a TV or computer, or share it directly with students to watch on their own devices, just start the side show from the beginning to simply watch it fully narrated, or you can deliver it yourself with the speakers notes. Whatever setup works best for you.
To play narration: click ‘Slide Show’ – ‘From Beginning’. Or Print and read/click through each PPT screen manually if you prefer.
How long is each class?
The core video modules run between 5 and 15 minutes (most are 8–10). With the included worksheets, art projects, infographics, and discussion, each module is designed to fill about 30–45 minutes of class time. Some art projects may take a full hour or more, depending on how deeply you dive in.
What happens after the pilot phase?
After the pilot, content will be updated based on your feedback and offered at a more permanent price point. Buying in now means you get your first school year at a discounted price and you’re part of shaping the program.
Is this content accessible and classroom-ready?
Yes! All modules come in accessible formats, with alternate versions available on request. Each series is designed to be ready-to-use, with activities, worksheets, and guides included.
